“The Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer met all of my criteria. I have used it every day for the week that I have owned it. I have been extremely pleased. It actually has exceeded my expectations. The workout is top notch. I am in decent shape and get a great workout at level 3. Since there are 16 levels of resistance, I do not believe I will outgrow this machine in my lifetime.
The machine is very well designed and sturdy. The room I have it in is rather small. It fits very well. Even though it has a compact design, it still provides for an eighteen inch stride length, which was one of my criterion.
I was able to assemble it without any assistance in about 2 hours. I did have an issue getting the left handle bar to line up, so actually ended up stripping the bolts. I called Nautilus’s customer service. They were extremely helpful and sent the new handle bar out with extra bolts (actually a whole new pack of bolts) the next day. I received the package right on schedule. Could not have been more pleased with the whole interaction.
